Despite have only three weeks of preseason games instead of four, the NFL will have 29 exhibition telecast available next month to the Capital Region audience.
Most of that is courtesy of NFL Network, which has a record 23 live telecasts in the three weeks in the schedule released Monday. For the first time, NFL Network is showing a few games simultaneous with network telecasts.
Surprisingly, the league’s over-the-air network partners — CBS, Fox and NBC — have only one game each. ESPN has two, both on the second weekend.
